Why It’s Different

Accent XL is a skin treatment system based upon Dual-layer RF (radio frequency) Thermotherapy. It is the only system on the market using two individual types of radio frequency technology: Unipolar and Bipolar. This unique dual radio frequency technology provides controlled volumetric tissue heating to two distinct depths of tissue.

How does RF work?

During treatment, our licensed practitioner will precisely heat an area of the inner layer of your skin (dermis) using radio frequency technology. As the dermis is heated, a natural reaction occurs that promotes the creation of new collagen. The result: a return to the smooth, shapely and elastic skin of your youth.

The Bipolar module focuses on the surface layer of the skin, while the Unipolar module penetrates further for deep dermal thermotherapy. The Bipolar treatment is well suited for areas where the skin is thinner and more delicate, such as the face, helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The Unipolar treatment generates alternating electromagnetic fields that cause friction and heating in the deeper tissues, which leads to improvements in overall shaping and firmness. Taken together, these dual-layer treatments can create dramatic change without the need for invasive surgery.

Additional Procedures:

Accent treatments may be used in conjunction with Laser treatments, Injectable Fillers, Botox, or Dysport to tighten skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Your surgeon may also recommend a surgical procedure to help you achieve your desired results.

What areas of the face and body can laser skin tightening treat?

As we get older, we may notice more wrinkles and loose skin in certain places on our bodies. Wrinkles are common in the forehead and around the eyes, and you may notice loose skin under your arms or stomach.

Laser skin tightening is a non-surgical option that has shown to be effective on just about any area of the body. Some of the most common areas include:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Abdomen
  • Buttocks
  • Legs
  • Arms

If you have a minor or moderate skin laxity, then a laser skin tightening treatment may be less invasive than having a liposuction or tummy tuck treatment performed. It’s a great alternative for those who aren’t ready or don’t need more invasive procedures.

Everybody is different, and when you come to Spa at Spring Ridge, our experts will sit down with you and help you decide how a laser skin tightening treatment can help you. We can answer all your questions and make sure that you are completely confident in the procedure you would like.

What is the difference between laser skin tightening and laser skin resurfacing?

You may have heard about laser skin resurfacing and wondered what the difference was between it and laser skin tightening. There are a few differences, and it’s important to know them.

Laser skin tightening does not have quite the dramatic and immediate effect that laser skin resurfacing does. However, laser skin tightening is usually less painful and discomforting to the patient, and there are fewer risks to the procedure.

With laser skin resurfacing, a laser is used to remove the outer layer of skin on the face or body. This means that new skin can grow in its place, and abnormalities such as scars, wrinkles, acne marks and sun spots will no longer be visible.

Many of our patients like to do a little research before coming in for a treatment or consultation, and we encourage patients to find information on their own. Our licensed experts are always happy to answer your questions, and they may help you better understand your procedure options and which one is best for you.

What does laser skin tightening treatment feel like?

Many of our clients are concerned with how laser skin tightening actually feels during the procedure. As a non-surgicaloption that is not invasive, this procedure is performed while the patient is awake. There is no anesthesia needed. At our spa, we know that everyone has different level of pain tolerance. That’s why we always want to make sure our clients feel comfortable with the treatment they’re receiving.

For this treatment, the practitioner will use a laser to apply these short pulses to your skin. In these areas, you may feel a heating sensation, followed by a brief period of discomfort. Many people describe it as feeling as if someone is snapping your skin with a rubber band. By the time the procedure is over, most clients no longer feel any pain or discomfort.

We know you may have a low pain tolerance, so please reach out to our offices with questions. We’ll be happy to answer all of your concerns and make you feel at ease.

How much does laser skin tightening cost?

One of the biggest concerns with laser skin treatment is how much it will cost. Though many people would like to have the treatment done, they cannot always justify spending inordinate amounts on a cosmetic procedure. We understand this, and we want to make this procedure as accessible as possible

As with any other cosmetic procedure, the price of the service depends on several factors. We determine our prices based on our location and the level of expertise of your practitioner. We will also determine the cost based on your skin type and how many procedures that will have to be done to reach the results that you want.

For most patients, treatments can run anywhere between $400 to $2,000, depending on the factors listed above. The final cost will depend on how many sessions are needed and how your skin type responds to the treatment. If you have questions about cost factors, please reach out to one of our staff members.

What are the side effects associated with laser skin tightening?

Like many procedures, cosmetic surgeries do come with a number of side effects. Laser skin treatment is no different. At our spa, we believe in making sure all our clients know and prepare for these side effects so that no one is taken by surprise.

After the procedure, you may experience redness and swelling. Both side effects are completely normal, and within a few days, they should go away. Some of the rarer side effects include blistering and bruising as well as a change in the pigmentation of the areas that were treated. Very few people experience these side effects. For the most part, you will be able to resume your regular life once the redness and swelling go down.

Before you have a cosmetic procedure performed, it is important that you are completely prepared for what may happen after the laser skin tightening is finished. If you have any questions either before or after the procedure, please do not hesitate to contact us.
