Cutera Excel HR Treatment Sessions
Cutera Excel HR treatment sessions can vary in length depending on the treatment size and area. Treatment may take anywhere from 6 – 10 sessions to achieve desired results. The standard amount of time between sessions is 4-6 weeks. Due to trying to capture the hair in the growth phase, if you go any further than the recommended time between sessions, more treatment sessions may be necessary to receive the desired results.
- Treatment will begin by cleansing the intended area
- Skin will then be stretched slightly to create pathway between hair follicle root and laser
- Laser energy will then be delivered to treatment area heating and destroying hair follicles
We also utilize the Zimmer chiller, a cooling instrument you can hold on the treated area to further minimize any discomfort.
We strong recommend to NOT have treatments with the Cutera Excel HR if you have had exposure to the sun and are tanned.
