The Need to Know on Lasers

Truth about lasersWe hear more and more about the excellent uses of lasers for skin care, and there are so many! How do we know which laser is best suited for our skin, or skin issues? Luckily at The Spa At Spring Ridge, we take the guess work away for you, and our knowledgeable aestheticians guide you on the route best suited for the skin. With that being said, we wanted to give you a little knowledge about the different laser services we offer, and what issues they can treat.

Anti-Aging Laser Treatment Enhancements

  • Wrinkle Reduction Laser- Stimulates collagen which creates a smoother and softer appearance of the areas with lines and wrinkles.
  • Tru-Sculpt -This is a non-surgical solution which helps remove stubborn areas of fat, and tightens the skin with no downtime! Typically a patient will receive 2-4 treatments.
  • Laser Genesis- Treating fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and even diffusing redness and scarring without downtime! You will experience subtle but consistent results after each treatment. On average you may require 4-6 treatments to achieve optimal results. This laser is our favorite to add with any of our facial treatments!

Anti-Aging Non-Ablative Laser Treatments

  • IPL/Photofacial- IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. IPL treatments are used to treat a vast range of skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation, and broken facial capillaries. With a series of 3-5 treatments, the skin looks bright and rejuvenated. Consultation is required.
  • Icon 1540- This is a fractional laser treatment that offers superior results with little to no downtime. Significant improvement of fine lines, loss of firmness, acne scarring, stretch marks, surgical scars, pigmentation, and uneven texture can be achieved with this laser. Two to four treatments are recommended for optimal results.
  • Excel V Laser for Vascular Conditions- Visible vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins, vascular lesions and skin discoloration can be treated with the Excel V Laser. Most conditions can be resolved in one or two treatments!
  • FOCUS- The Picosure FOCUS is a new and unique laser that is the next generation for skin rejuvenation and revitalization. The FOCUS addresses fine lines, sun damage, texture, scarring, and stretch marks. A series of three treatments is recommended to achieve optimal results; the skin will be red and tender for one or two days.

Hyperpigmentation Laser Treatments

  • IPL Skin Rejuvenation- The IPL treatments as stated earlier treat hyperpigmentation and broken facial capillaries. Three to five treatments are recommended. Consultation required.
  • Excel V Laser for Vascular Conditions- The Excel V Laser is another great choice for the hyperpigmentation. The Excel V incorporates the latest innovations in cooling technologies enabling higher doses to be delivered with less pain than traditional laser systems and no downtime.
  • Icon 1540 and the FOCUS also helps with hyperpigmentation as stated earlier.

Rosacea Non-Ablative Laser Treatments

  • Laser Genesis- Helps diffuse redness without the downtime!
  • Excel V and IPL- These Lasers collapse capillaries and allow your body to reabsorb the hemoglobin.
